Fathers and Father-figures,
On Tuesday, October 24 from 6:00-7:00 pm we will be having our annual Watch DOG training Night at our school. You will meet here at the school cafeteria at 6:00 for a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) Program. WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. The goal is to have these men spend at least one day a year at the school to be an extra set of eyes and ears as a positive male role model.
In order to come, you need to do three things:
1. Fill out the bottom portion of this slip and return it with your child saying that you will attend the Watch DOGS night.
2. Complete the online volunteer form located on the TISD and NIS websites. This needs to be completed every year. **New this year, you will NOT be able to sign up on the Watch Dog calendar unless you are an approved volunteer**
3. Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you Tuesday, October 24 from 6:00-7:00 pm.
