About me

Howdy! My name is Amy Oliver and I am a part of the Special Education team as a Specialized Support Teacher.  This is my first year at Northpointe Intermediate and I am thrilled to be a part of such an inclusive, fun-loving team.  Prior to coming to NIS, I have taught Kindergarten, Practical Application of Life Skills, and In-Class Support.  I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 and enjoy going back for TAMU volleyball games.  My husband, daughter, and two sons moved to Tomball 2 years ago and have loved our time here.  We also have 2 dogs, a cat, and a leopard gecko that share our home with us.

When not at school, I enjoy traveling new places and trying out new types of food.  My family and I enjoy outdoor activities such as; hiking, camping, kayaking, toobing, biking, and swimming. You may also find me curled up with a good book, a mocha latte, and dark chocolate. However, most of my time is spent at my daughter's Tomball Memorial HS and club volleyball games.

I am here to help your student be the best wildcat they can be.  If there is anything that your student needs or any concerns that you may have please feel free to email me.
