Mr. Snell is originally from Elkhart, Indiana. He attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated with a BS in elementary education. He taught one year in Illinois in a third grade class, and at the end of that year, was given an opportunity to teach overseas. In 1977, he traveled to Quito, Ecuador to teach sixth grade. He loved teaching overseas so much, he chose to stay for the next 25 years. While in Ecuador, Mr. Snell attended University of Alabama extension classes to obtain his Master of Education degree. He has taught for over 35 years. During those years, he has taught third, sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Some time ago, he returned to the United States to reconnect with his culture and teach in the U.S. again.
Mr. Snell is always hoping to learn more about Tomball and his students each year he teaches.
