Leadership

Dr. Caitlin Cain, Principal of Northpointe Intermediate. Dr. Cain has been in Tomball ISD since 2020, previously serving as the district's Director of Secondary ELA and Advanced Academics. Prior to joining Tomball ISD, Dr. Cain has served in numerous campus leadership roles, including Associate Principal and Assistant Principal in Magnolia ISD.  Before becoming a campus administrator, she was a classroom teacher at the secondary level and assisted with the creation of curriculum. Along with her teaching duties, Dr. Cain also coached volleyball and soccer.
 
Dr. Cain graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Finance, earned her MA in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, and her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.
 
 

Robyn Thrower, Assistant Principal.  Mrs. Thrower’s journey with Tomball ISD began at Rosehill Elementary in 2006 as a 2nd Grade teacher. In 2008, Mrs. Thrower joined NIS, serving first as an Itinerant Dyslexia Interventionist then Instructional Specialist for Reading/Dyslexia until moving to Academic Specialist and Campus State Testing Coordinator/Dyslexia Program Coordinator in 2020.  Mrs. Thrower was named Assistant Principal at NIS in December of 2022. Prior to joining TISD, Mrs. Thrower began her career in education in 1989 with Alief ISD as a 1st Grade teacher then moved to Aldine ISD to serve as a multi-level classroom teacher at both the elementary and junior high school levels. Mrs. Thrower also has experience in early childhood as the former director of Graceview Early Learning Center from 2003-2006.  

Mrs. Thrower earned her BS in Education from Baylor University and her MA in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
