About Mrs. Valenzuela
I am a native Texan and grew up in a small East Texas town. I have always had a love for reading and going to the library. After high school graduation, I lived for several years in Louisiana and I graduated from LSU in 1995. I have been in education for the past 28 years. For the first two years, I taught 3rd and 4th graders in Baton Rouge while attending graduate school for Library Science. I have been a librarian for the past 26 years, 25 of those years have been here in Tomball.
I am married and I have 2 sons and a daughter-in-law. We have two dogs, Bear and Scout, and a cat named Lilly.
I love reading a good book, learning new things, being with my family and friends, gardening, watching movies, and having a good laugh. I look forward to this next school year and getting to know all of our students here at NIS!
